Biography: Marjorie Welsh Dole graduated from Antioch College in 1946, and was accepted as a summer student at The Jackson Lab with Dr. Francisco Duran-Reynolds as her mentor. She received her M.S. from Ohio State and worked as a research microbiologist for many years. For sixteen tears she was director of clinical microbiology laboratory at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
Scope and Content: “Recollections of the Summer of 1946. - The Jackson Laboratory” 60 photographs of people and scenery, with some narrative and identification labels.
