Jenny Morgenweck, Ph.D.

Director, Operations

Leads the operational processes to accelerate the delivery of high-quality preclinical data to support the translation of rare disease therapeutics.

Jenny directs operations for the Rare Disease Translational Center, overseeing a growing team of preclinical and animal care technologists, preclinical training specialists, and study managers. With over 10 years of experience, she is dedicated to building systems that enable scientists to focus on advancing life-changing research for patients with rare diseases.

Jenny received her B.S. in psychology from Stockton University in New Jersey. Jenny then studied behavioral neuroscience and pharmacology for her graduate work at Tulane University followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Scripps Research Institute. Since joining JAX, Jenny has served as a Technical Information Scientist, Program Manager in Genetic Resource Science, Product Manager and Senior Product Manager of In Vivo Services, Senior Program Manager, and  now as the Director of Operations at the Rare Disease Translational Center.
